About Monica
Monica Elena (she/her) is a Los Angeles based actor, singer, model, and recent graduate of Emerson College's Musical Theatre BFA program. During her time at Emerson, she enjoyed acting on film sets while continuing to perform on stage.
Monica is a first-generation American with Romanian roots, born and raised in Seattle. Her love of performing began with community theatre, and continues into her professional life.
Alongside Musical Theatre, Monica pursued a second major in Communication Disorders. She has years of experience working in research and one-on-one with children with autism and ADHD, and hopes to engage herself with adaptive theatre creation. She is currently pursuing her MA in speech-language pathology at Cal State Los Angeles.
